Methodology note
Harder systems need honest context.
The public comparisons currently use shared spreads, public index sets, and no ace side-count implementation. That can make simple unbalanced counts look unusually attractive in headline EV. Wong Halves, Hi-Opt, Omega, and other harder systems are often about precision, pitch-game value, side-count discipline, team language, and thinner error bands. The site should show those reasons plainly instead of treating one baseline fixture as a universal winner.
EV formula
Fixture EV/hr is not a closed-form ranking formula. It is simulated mean units per round times table-min dollars times rounds per hour.
Instant rules
Observatory adjusts the fixed fixture by a shared house-edge delta for instant reads. Custom Monte Carlo is the stricter check for a selected table.
When hard counts win
Optimized ramps, deeper penetration, high betting-correlation shoe games, pitch games, and ace side counts can make Halves or ace-neutral systems worth the work.
